Austral Fisheries has committed to sustainable fishing, hook, line and sinker. 🎣🐟✅ The company’s 18 fishing vessels sail in rough, southern seas to catch the prized Patagonian Toothfish; a species that sells for premium prices around the world. In tropical northern waters, the business catches millions of prawns every year. The Perth-based company is riding the wave toward more sustainable fishing practices, and has hauled in the coveted blue tick of approval from the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). Austral Fisheries is also the first #seafood business in the world to be certified #CarbonNeutral. The company plants around 300,000 native trees each year to offset the emissions associated with its operations, with 3 million trees planted to date. Consumers can also scan a QR code to find out where their fish was caught. This ocean-to-plate #traceability protects its brand and has boosted #exports to A$120 million a year. Howzat for avocado opportunities 🥑🙌
Australian #avocados 🥑 were officially launched in #India yesterday and we were privileged to support Avocados Australia Limited’s launch event in partnership with the agency AMPRO Marketing. The event began with a press conference with leading Indian media outlets, with Acting High Commissioner Nicholas McCaffrey, CEO of Avocados Australia John Tyas, Chair and WA Director Brad Rodgers, Chair of Hort Innovation Julie Bird, and 🏏 cricket legend Brett Lee discussing #trade relations between #Australia and India with Avocados at the forefront. A trade reception followed with Brett Lee leading the bowling attack on behalf of the Australian exporter team against the Australian High Commission team, accompanied by a cooking demonstration with Chef Saby Gorai cooking Indian-based avocado dishes! We thank everyone involved in making it a success and taking a significant step in enhancing the Australian avocado presence in India. #avocadogoodness Catherine Gallagher | John Southwell | Varun Kukreti | Shruty Saini | Harsh Mohan Puri | Misha Mehrotra | Dr. Asha S. | Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) | Trade and Investment Queensland | Invest and Trade Western Australia | Bhavin Kadakia | Pramodh Lakshminarayan

HyImpulse successfully launched their SR75 rocket on Friday, May 3, from Southern Launch’s Koonibba Test Range, South Australia, in a milestone achievement for commercial launch capabilities in Australia.🚀🏆 This is the first high power rocket permit to be issued under Australian law, for one of the largest commercially launched rockets in Australian history. Founded with the goal to revolutionize access to space and based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, HyImpulse is a launch services provider developing innovative hybrid rocket engines. The SR75-1 ‘Light this Candle!’ mission was the inaugural launch attempt of HyImpulse’s SR75 rocket, and the first from the new permanent facilities at the Koonibba Test Range. The range was developed by Southern Launch in partnership with the Koonibba Community Aboriginal Corporation. 🤝🏼💡 Koonibba Community Aboriginal Corporation Chairperson Geraldine Ware says, ‘this launch was an incredible achievement for our community.’ ‘We had more than 30 people from the community working throughout the campaign and to come together and see it launch was amazing,’ Ware said. The successful launch proves the viability of HyImpulse’s technology and progress toward developing our SL1 orbital launch vehicle.
